Chopper frequency

I have set the frequency at 32KHz since this is one of the outputs I have
from the 4040 chip where my clock is hooked up to. The chips gets warm to
the touch when there is a long no movement time. For heatsinks I have all
the chips tied to an aluminum plate with a Pentium II heatsink and fan
mounted on it. The software automatically disables the chips when the
airfoil is finished cutting, since there is no tool pressure with a hot wire
cutting machine. Only with large tapers is there any considerable time where
an axises does not move. I may cut the chopper frequency down to 16Khz to
save some heating of the chips. This will be slightly audible but I'm
getting older so not for long.
