What kind of drives are you using. Bipolar chopper drives should
have a current limit set. Also what kind of power supply. Regulated
supplies make bad chopper drive supplies because they dont have a big
enough capasiter in the output....Why dont you give a little more
info about your setup. Also guage of wire to drive and lenght of run
from power supply.
