I think i will mention somthing about the transformer 10 amp rating
in case some of you do not know this. The actual current drawn from
the transformer with a bridge rectifer and a capacitor is 1.8 X the
DC current. So if you draw 6 amps DC you draw 10.8 amps from the
transformer.
