I have used cables up to 28 feet long from the driver to the stepper motor.

The wire gauge becomes a factor. There is power lost in the wire
resistance.
The bigger the individual wire size the better, yet it has to be enough to
bend
when it should. You can tell when you are loosing power in the motor cables
because they get warm when the wire gauge is to small.

I think a 50 foot parallel cable from the computer to the driver may be
solution worth considering. Then keep the driver with the table. That is
what
I do, I have computerized router on the patio and the computer in the
kitchen
with a 25 foot parallel cable between them.
