I have the video monitor, keyboard and mouse on an arm mounted to the
side of the milling machine. The computer and servo amps, etc. are
behind me
at the work position. The cables, however, run right around 20 - 25',
including
some loops to accomodate the slide motion. So, it really doesn't take
much at all
to get cable lengths like that. (Now, I run all my cables toward the
back of the
mill, then up, and run along the ceiling, and then back down to the
control
cabinet. If I'd put the control cab. beside the mill, the cable runs
would be
a lot shorter. But, I didn't want cables (and it is a HELL of a big
bundle!)
running across the floor in a major pathway.
