Now I wished I had kept that article....
In one of the metal working publication [1996 ?], can not remember
which, there was an article about a owner of a gear manufacturer who
became enamoured with the Holtzapffel, started up production of an
modern version of the machine. The newer version stayed with the concept
and design of the original, just uses modern material, cost was some
where in the ballpark of $25K. Don't remember the name of the company or
the owner, sorry.
