search of books at Hay on Wye I came across a set of the original, not
reprints, of the five volumes by Holtzapffel.
These were dated around the 1880's and were in very good condition.
IIRC the price was about 300 UKP. Very tempted but managed to resist.
Somewhere I have a note of the book seller.
I believe that the reprints are still available through Linsey and TEE
Also on a book note here in the Uk J&L Industrial Supplies have the 4
volume set of Ingenious Mechanisms on sale at 60 UKP for the 4 volumes.
Might be worth checking the US outlets.
