I'm slowly getting to grips with Linux. (No previous experience) I'm
interested to see how much info there has been on here re using Linux
for NC. Once I've developed some confidence in Linux, I'll be ready
to have a go at linking it to a small milling machine and lathe.
Can someone please remind me of an inexpensive Linux CAD/CAM s/w
package please?

On a different note. The msg subjects always seem to include
CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO before the title of the msg. My newsreader only shows
this as anything afterwards is hidden, due to the excessive length.
The result is that instead of seeing the titles and being able to
pick up a thread, I just see a column of CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO !
I already knew they were from there because the originator shows it.
Why does it appear in the subject box too?

Is this just me?
