A fellow who posts on rcm had a web page that detailed how you could
build your own. I think he also made anvils to order for people.
I don't have a url, but you can probably search for Ernie Leimkuhler.

I also have a couple of saved articles on repairing anvils. I can
send them to folks off-list, send me (not the list) e-mail so I
can reply. That's getting a little too far off topic to post here.
