If 3.0 E 12 m is the upper bound since it assumes constant gravity then there are other problems. Such as which planet is most
likely to capture the anvil. At 3.0 E 9 kilometers the distance to some pretty massive objects is less than the distance to earth.
Just depends on where they are in their orbit. :-O
