Thanks! I didn't actually nose around in the Browning site before sending the URL - it gives pitch, widths and pulley size ranges for the various classes, but is not very educational. I also checked out http://www.gates.com - their narrowest belt was 12mm. They have downloadable data sheets, one for getting center-to-center distance based on the desired speed ratio, the other gives horsepower ratings for combinations of shaft speed, belt width and sprocket size.
