My book says it was made in 1948 they changed the bed around that time
I have a 1951 dv59 that is a dovetail bed
is the bed a big dovetail with the clamp on the back of the cross slide
or a inverted V with a split down the center and a clamp under
the bed as has been said the split beds don't bring as much
