Hardinge Info

I almost bought a Hardinge lathe for 1000 bucks just now. But it
doesn't have a leadscrew. It has a cross slide and a compound slide.
The saddle is evidently positioned by hand and has a clamp. It has a
normal tailstock. Looks like about 8" by 24"
Numbers on the lathe were Model WE59 #V59-897-1. Anyone know
anything about this machine?
