Hi,
This just my 2 penny worth.
This subject is well within the remit of this list. While not being a
programmer myself I would like to add my thoughts. I have a demo of a CAM
package that works within ACAD14 or 2000 and outputs G-code. While this
software is very expensive it is a very nice way to do it as it is not
necessary to learn another program. I am not suggesting that the CAM
software should be written for ACAD just some available program that does
the 3D bit and it available to anyone. I do question the suggestion that it
be written for an operating system that is alien to 90% of computer users.
The reason I have not yet gone over to EMC is the need to learn another
operating system.
Regards,
Terry
