Randy: Sadly, just about ALL "project boxes", particularly those with
"pretty outsides", are VERY expensive! I have no idea where you are — were
you in Houston, I'd suggest ACE Equipment, a "surplus dealer" which has
become kinda "new goods retailer" as well, in recent years. They have lotsa
"boxes" of all descriptions, all the time, though seldom "same stuff, all the
time".

Another for smaller boxes I have used is, believe it or not, Radio Shack.
They have some sometimes-nice boxes, and recently, a growing range. But I
haven't gawked at a Radio-Shack's stuff in months. Interests migrate and
evolve, doncha know.

Allied or Newark, of course, have "all the Bud stuff" and the other
manufacturers of really-fine professional stuff. Sometimes, paying a bit for
proper hardware can save you later headaches that would cost more than the
"extra" you imagined you spent on the "box", etc.!
