most 2d cad programs all agree that the origin
is the upper-left-corner of the screen. x-axis
is left to right positive being to the right.
y-axis is up and down, positive being down.
Which are these then? Rhino puts the origin in the centre of the screen by
default and Autocad in the lower left corner - both going positive up and
right. I can't think of any that work from the top down.
