I run Windows at 1280x1024 on a 21" monitor.

At home I run at 1152x864 on a 19" monitor.

Forget about 640x480. Did you know that if you select 640x480 with large
fonts then the display settings dialog is too large for the screen, and it
becomes very difficult to change to anything else?
