Regards to PCBs. The way it works here in SoCal is the gecko boards
are $2.65 each in 1K lots for a 4-layer plated thru hole board. The
turnaround time is 2 weeks.

I will take the plunge on the axis pulse generator cards. It will
cost about $2,500 to get 1,000 of them. I believe in it enough to do
it.

Also in the spirit of having this thing completely open, I will post
the board layout in DXF and GERBER format as soon as it is done.
