The guy I spoke to was just reading off what he could find and we
reakoned that was the serial, but could have been anything.
Could you tell me where the proper serial would be on the machine ?
and what general info I can tell about the machine from the serial at
auction time there and then.

Would you say there are any Bridgeport models much better or much
worse for converting ?

not sure if I'd use all the extras, but would be nice to have just in
case, hope they don't push the price up.
