Hi Terry,

What assembler or 'C' compiler are you using? My son changed to a
16F877, from the 16C73's I have used in his NATCAR (line follower car
for UC Davis).

If you're using the CCS 'C' compiler, are you using LONGS?

Do you intend to interface a 2 or 4-line LCD display? Just curious.
