RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] can you help identify a stepper motor?

on 2001-01-04 00:41:59 UTC
I pulled apart a Calcomp plotter several months ago which gave me motors
with very similar numbers.

Universal Magnetics Corp.
10211-301-001
ME21026017 8709

I believe them to be servo motors (spade terminals) with encoders (ribbon
cable). I also could find nothing on the web about the motors. Any
information would be very useful. I do not have the original circuitry, but
the power supply should still be here somewhere.

Phil,

I think you have DC servo motors with encoders!
