I thoroughly agree with Ron. This is one instance where less is more. I don't have much to say, jet. I must sincerely tell you, this list is becoming somewhat tiresome reading, I have considered unlisting. Hey Bill, when I got your third invitation to join the list in two
days, I almost unlisted. I did what more people should do; I thought twice before hitting the send button. By the way; is unsolicited mass mailing not a spam if you say in it: This is not a spam. They all say that.

I remember when everyone, that is everyone that had something to say, was very heated about ads placed by eGroups. I had never noticed them until someone brought this up. Now I have a proposition. Is it possible that eGroup could put hyperlinks from the list of contents to
respective posts in the Digest. There are 3 or 4 Digests every day. As I said some of the topics get somewhat tiresome after a while. Hyperlinked list of contents would keep grumpy people like me at bay.

Then there is the subject of changing subject. In Digest Number 1053, Message: 16: Subject: Re: Renishaw, digitizers, there is actually no mention of the subject matter nor is there in the message it is replaying to. It turns out that it is actually quite interesting for me.
I only read it because I was making this point. Maybe it is time to adopt some strict rules about topics as some mailing lists do?

I must finally tell you that I'm not flaming anyone, if you feel the smell of burning, it's probably coming from the kitchen or lightning has struck or something.
