The cutting wheel in class cutters should be lubricated. Many pros have secret formulas, but 3 in one oil, WD-40, lamp oil or plain
old kerosene or #2 diesel will work. Usually a small swatch of cotton cloth is placed in an inverted cap from a spray can or pop
bottle and saturated with the light weight oil. The cutter is rubbed across the cloth, thus lubricating the wheel and cleaning off
any dirt or glass chips. Both the glass and cutting wheel should be free of any dirt that might cause the wheel to skip.
