I don't think aggregates would be suitable for machinability. Aluminum
powder is often used for this purpose. Or you could cast metal inserts into
an aggregate filled epoxy and then finish machine the metal inserts.

Someone built a router table with aluminum filled resin castings and has it
on a website. Can't remember who it was or if the resin was epoxy.
