The resin is urethane, and the site is super-tech, home of Dennis
Bohlke and supercam control software. I think Greg Pettingill had
something to do with the development of this. He has a site which (I
think) is related to the words cote design. Try a search. I know he
has some links to filled polyurethanes.

The Leader in this arena is Anocast, a division of anorad. There were
writeups several years back in the machinist trade mags. These
detailed the Light Machines Corp 'spectra' (I think) milling machine.
The claims were that the composite was better at reducing vibration
than Cast iron.

These composites are NOT cheap!
