Re: CHEAP digital camera???

Hi Dave,

I was deep into cameras when I was ship's photographer on a submarine.
REALLY wanted a view camera. Imagine the film costs for it! I was
lucky then, I was SUPPLIED with film/paper! With 35mm, you have to
shoot full frame to get acceptable 8x10 prints. with 6x6, you can crop
later and STILL get excellent 8x10's or 11x14's.

P.S. I enjoyed my "expedition" to Yosemite with by 6x6 on a big
tripod. I could set up on a shot, people would literally "clear out",
and wait for me to get my shot, and then after I moved on, they were
quick to move to my vacated position, and take their "own" shot!
