was about 12 mi from epicenter...driving down a
very rutted road....didn't know for a few minutes
what had happend. My son lives 2 mi from the
epicenter...his wife called and said no damage.
Think Seattle must have been the peak of the first
wave....
Trunk lines across going east have been jamed all
day... took me until 3:30 to call my wife and tell
her I was OK.
e-mail across the mts. seems to be working just
fine. :-)
