I'm not sure about where you are but I purchased a package which gave
me everything I needed including the HSS cutters except the motor -
they remove it for sales in Australia. I think the TAIG was a great
buy. I sold it to go bigger and now I going to buy another one.
There is a site - I think there is a link from the TAIG site, which
can give your friend more thatn he could cope with as to
possibilities with accessories. I think there is also an egroup site.

The only problem the TAIG will cause in your friend's wedding is due
to him not being able to draw himself away - but any new lathe will
cause that!
