Thanks for all the suggestions. Please bear with me
while I explain further. (CAM experts please bear with
us. This is the CAD part of CAD_CAM_....) I have found
many people find it difficult to grasp orthogonal
projection. In the States, I think they have tried to
make life easy by just sticking to third angle
projection (I see from books they don't even mention
Third Angle and just call everything multiview. Over
here, we have to struggle with third angle and first
angle, and boy, do we get confused!!! Thanks to our
colonial master. So what I hope to do is to draw a
series of "cartoon" showing the views unfolding to a
flat plane. That's the reason for the rectangles
and/or the glass panes. If diversion time from this
CAM quest permit, and when bandwidth capability of the
web catches up with our ambitions, I hope to learn
enough about animation to make it almost like a video
(so many toys, so little time). Ancient Chinese wisdom
