and see if I can help you out.

I have a fairly good idea (I think) of what you're trying to do....but it's
a lot easier to visualize a graphics image than it is an ascii image drawn
to repersent a 3D graphic (to many "lines" in the way)!

BTW...what you have described below is what we here in the states call
"Dutch Projection"

Also "scratching their heads" means the students have to THINK (for a
change?). :-)
