Yes, certainly you want a sturdy table. I thought that since you
live close to HF you could look at it and see what you thought.
I'm not impressed with HF stuff, actually.

Probably better off getting some good box steel and welding it
together. Would it be possible to use the top pan if it had a
good solid underpinning?

I think I see another TIG welding project coming in my future
:-).
