Not all inserts have generic equivalents. Best I could suggest is to
buck up, and spend half an hour to an hour reading up on inserts in the
MSC catalog. There really is a ton of info there. I'd also suggest
trying to get a Carboloy catalog.
I did buy several packs of Iscar part off inserts once at about .10 per
insert. A steal! Then I couldn't find the holder anywhere. Never did
contact Iscar directly, but nobody carried the holder in a catalog that
I could find. Finally found a shop that did have that holder and being a
filthy capitalist, sold my inserts to them for .25 ea.
