Hi Marcus,

Bad idea. Aerating the tank will not get rid of anaerobic bacteria, they
will always find quiet corners to live in but it will encourage the growth
of aerobic bugs. Therefore, rather than solving a problem it will double
it!! pouring perfume in a cesspit will make it smell better but I still
wouldn't want to swim there! The only answer is to clean out any wet systems
regularly and thoroughly disinfect them.
