I am using a program called Vector that is an integrated CAD/CAM package.
You can either draw your complete part in it, you can import .dxf files from
other programs, or you can cut and paste from any windows program. It is
then capable of generating full 3-D g-code. It is quite different to used
compared to a "traditional" CAD program like Autocad, but as I started
learning it's methodology I found I can make any part I want as easy if not
easier than with a "traditional" program.
