RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] ini file for EMC

Yes there is a utility in EMC if I remember correctly that will let you see
the status of inputs. Never used it. Check your .ini and see what you are
using as an IO controller. It is towards the bottom in the [EMCIO] section.
The lines you are looking for is:

; Name of IO controller program, e.g., bridgeportio
EMCIO = bridgeportio
; EMCIO = minimillio

If it looks like this you need 2 parallel ports for it to work. Change to
minimillio and you should be rocking.
