RF45 CNC conversion

Alan,
I cut a hole in the top of the column. It was 3/4" thick cast iron, so I had to do it slow and with a lot of cutting oil to keep the hole saw cool. I used a big Milwaulkee mag drill set on a make shift platform that I leveled up to the top of the column. The platform was a right angle plate clamped to the side of it. If I had had more room in my shop at the time, I probably would have bought a Boss mill- and not gone to the trouble that I did. But, with little space at that time and less now it makes sense to have a RF45 conversion.
