I've been checking out the specs on that machine.

It appears to be a fairly HEAVY duty machine.
The weight is listed at 15000 KG (33,000 lb) for the "small" machine! At
33,000 pounds, it would cost a bunch to ship it once it reached a US port.
You'd also need an easy access garage or shop and some heavy duty moving
equipment to install it.

XYZ tvls are approximately 62"/32"/27".
It includes an automatic tool changer for up to 20 tools.

The spindle nose taper is a #50BT...whatever the hell that is? At any
nrate, it means you'll (probably) need to buy a lot of new tool holders just
to be able to use the machine. These don't sound like anything standard to
me so the questions arise: "where do you buy them" and "how much (more
expensive) are they"?

The KW rating for the spindle motors indicates a minimum of 11KW ( 50A
service at 220 V)! Also, the KVA service requirement is listed at 30 KVA
(136A at 220V) You'd need some pretty hefty electrical service just for the
machine.

I wonder if that price of less than $4000 someone quoted is correct? Sounds
extremely cheap for the size of the machine and with the included features.

If that price (less than 4 grand) is correct, it might be worth buying even
with the electrical service upgrade I'd require and the new tooling which
would alos be required.

I'd sure like to know what kind of software is provided with it? Anyone
know?
