Re: 555 timer circuit

Hi,

I have followed this thread with interest and I thought it would be
fun to draw up some circuits to do what was talked about. What I came
up with is:

1) Simple. A circuit that uses a SPDT, center-off switch. When
depressed it generates a single CW or CCW step pulse. 2 seconds later
it outputs a non-accelerated step pulse train at a speed of your
choice until the switch is released. Uses a single 4093 IC and a few
R's and C's.

2) Medium. Same as above but generates an accelerating step pulse
train of your choice of accel rate and terminal velocity. Releasing
the switch then decels at same rate until motor stops. 2 to 3 generic
ICs and of course some R's and C's.

I can post it to the files section after I convert paper/pencil stuff
to a .pdf if anyone wants.
