YES! We are pursuing further development of the stepper
controller that PMDX demonstrated running under USB control
at NAMES. Currently we are making up test platforms for
a few people who have approached us about writing software
that takes advantage of the USB interface and the hardware
pulse generator logic. These boards should be going out
in mid-June. A discussion of the driver interface and
command protocol will be started to allow the group to
influence development.

That demo platform was indeed one of the Cypress EZ-USB
development boards with a Xilinx chip grafted on top.
The new test platform will be a dedicated board with
more capabilities for interface to motors and other
CNC related hardware.
