Yeah, lotta terms! You might try getting several catalogs, MSC, J&L,
ENCO, Grizzly, etc. Then you'll see, for example what an R8 shank looks
like! There is, of course, the FAQ's at the end of the post, but I
don't know if they are in there! Maybe someone can recommend a good
text on machining. I have two CNC texts that have some good
Illustrations. I don't have the books titles here, but will post them
later, if you want.
