Text editing in DOS

on 2001-05-31 08:18:10 UTC
In my Net travels I came across a freeware DOS based ASCII text editor that
I thought may be of interest to those of you that hate Windoz...

It gives you a lot of the functionality of a Windows based text editor yet
is a DOS based program like MS-edit... Things like "ctrl C" and "ctrl V" to
copy & paste, spell checker, and even access to Windows print drivers are
all included features...

"Pedit is a freeware DOS editor similar to, but better than the standard DOS
edit program."

http://www.goldshell.com/pedit/main.htm

I hope someone finds this of use.

Regards,
Bryan
