Gentlemen,
I am looking for a DOS program which will allow my GCode text files to be
"browsed". I remember when DBASE II first came out, their brouse command
would allow one to scan up and down through a file. In this case, I would
like to be able to browse through a DOS subdirectory, and have the file name
displayed on the left, and the first line of text of the file displayed on
the same line as the file name, so that I can see the comment I put at the
beginning of the file (to see what the G Code file was used for. After a
while, I forget what the eight character file name means. Is there some
utility which will allow this to be done, or is this a feature that can only
be programmed inside an application?
Thanks,
Tom E.
