Dave,

I would like to help but need more info.

Most important, What is the material being cut and what is the
hardness rating? (brinell or rockwell "c" scale.)

RPM's are based on the suggested surface feet for a given material.

Are the end mills coated or uncoated?
Coated end mills can withstand higher rpm's (and feed rates) than
uncoated. Any particular brand your using?

Let me know what material your cutting and I will also scan the page
for it (suggested feeds and speeds for milling) from a machinist
bible and send it to you.
