Fred, Tim, and EMC folk

Got Tim's post (copied below) so I tried the new file. (emc-14-Sep-1999.tgz)

Fred. Thanks for the tip about shift/click to download.

My results - so far after tar and install. Ran steppers with Matt's
64step378 run and ini (my old mod) It worked fine. Stepper's danced all
over the table.

Remodeled the new emc.run and emc.ini for operation like the 64step378 and
it ran fine again. (after I changed the home polarity for x 'cause I don't
have home switches)

Tried to create a simulated machine version and all hell broke loose. I'll
work on that later.

Tim. Maybe the problem is the limit switch definition in your ini file.
If they float high they could stop motion and stall out some input to xemc.
