I ran it on my machine here and it ran OK. I tried some different
combinations of task and IO controllers, and noted that if I ran
bridgeporttask (aka shvtask) and minimillio (aka mmio), I could load a
program but it aborted before running any motion. MDI worked OK for a
linear move. Note that one should not mix bridgeport* and minimill*
programs since they are tailored for different machines and it doesn't
make sense to mix them.

I did this using a previous script I had (stepper.run, with
stepper.ini), and for a new script (emc.run, with emc.ini, based on the
new generic.run,ini files).

Tim, send me your run script and ini file and perhaps I can duplicate
the problem here.
