Without knowing a whole lot about this control, it sounds
like the executive program needs to be loaded into the CNC
computer. Does this machine have a memory backup battery?
IF so, then no doubt the battery ran down and the contents of memory
were lost. (It doesn't have a cassette tape drive or something like
that in it, does it?)

I was in the same situation when I got an Allen Bradley control
a while ago. I had to get a copy of an executive paper tape from
somebody who worked on them. Ahh, the internet is wonderful
for things like that.

And yes, the manuals are really important. I would not have bought that
A-B control without them.
