I have no experience with Canadian shipping, but i must fairly often get
something shipped from England. One shipper will only ship via UPS, which
means customs brokerage fees, customs fees, high shipping fees, and mass
confusion (one time the driver will need a check, another time i get billed)
This mess seldom costs less than fifty dollars US.
The combined postal systems, can get a package here from northern G.B. at low
cost with no customs formalities in three or four days. Again and again.
