Have you ever read the Bobcad license? It's just a generic licence
copy that they have pinched from someone else. They leave their
selves wide open for a start. The license states :-
You are allowed to install a working copy on any one computer owned
by you" [ or similar wording ] Typical generic stuff. But in Bobcad's
case they have a password generated fron a system number unique to
one machine. That unique BTY that a fresh install of windows will
require a new number. So you buy a copy of 17, install it on your
shop computer and register it. Take the copy home to install on your
home machine but you don't have a number. Even if you uninstall it
from your shop computer you can't run a home copy. But the licence
says "ANY one computer"
