Hi Peter,

I've had a quick look through my books, 0R1 3 Watt resistors are available
from the likes of RS, but not 1%.

If 5% will do, as I suspect they will ( are they current sensing ? ), then
depending on the size of the package, I would suggest a 2.5W vitreous enamel
from the Farnell catalouge. Part No. 342-002 @ 55p approx.
If it must be a 3W and it is vertically mounted then a KWV4 ceramic, part No.
344-096 would probably do., it is also about 20p cheaper...

Farnell components can be purchased over the counter at any Newey & Eyre trade
stores, phone 0121 455 9727 for your local branch.
If you are in Leeds, go to the Farnell trade counter, else phone them on 0113
263 6311. Both companies will deal in cash for small orders.

If you get stuck with either components or fault finding, email me direct with
your phone no. and I'll see what I can do to help.
Depending on how far away you are, I may be able to loan yo a scope.

Regards, Paul.
