In the past when I have had a need for very low value resistors, I have taken
a short length of copper wire of a known length and diameter, and with a little
bit of maths, worked out the resistance. But I'll be ***** if I can remember
the numbers. Or if you can measure the resistance of a longish peice of fuse
wire, you could use that instead. The third option is to use Nichrome wire, I
have some to hand, and for 0R1 a length of 35mm would suffice.
Or you could buy one.... The white ceramic wire wound resistors are generally
all of low inductance, although the inductance of such a small resistor would
be negligable.
Regards, Paul.
P.S. Newcastle - That's way oop north, I'd have to dig out my passport.
